MBS Phototherapy - About Us
MBS are based in Warrington. We specialise in Narrowband UVB light therapy devices, for the treatment of Psoriasis, Vitiligo, Eczema and Scleroderma at home.
MBS started as a business in 1996 dealing with customers face to face. Even though our business has moved on-line, we recognise that most of our customers value the personal service that buying on the internet lacks. We also recognise that many of our customers value our experience and look to us for advice.
Since 1996 we have been the leading supplier of n-UVB Phototherapy devices designed for home use within the UK.
Our phototherapy devices deliver treatment using medically approved Philips TL01 & PL01 lamps, identical to the UVB light therapy offered within the Health Service.
Our units, manufactured in the UK, and Germany are designed for use within your own home, enabling you to access phototherapy immediately, whenever your condition requires. Our manufacturers are trusted partners who only supply their equipment with genuine Philips 311nm n-UVB tubes.
We have established relations with Dermatologists in both Public and Private practice in several parts of the country, (Manchester, the North East, London and Harley Street) and are happy to recommend Private Practice Dermatologists, (who also practice in the NHS), if you are struggling with NHS referrals.
We DON’T just offer our customers one Phototherapy device, as with Phototherapy one device DOES NOT fit all.
Our range of phototherapy devices are designed specifically to suit different severities and spreads of these conditions that respond to treatment with n-UVB light. This is a key differentiator for us, we won’t sell you just one device , we will try to inform your choice as to the most appropriate device for your condition.
We primarily sell our units in the UK, but ship to Europe, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
Outside of Sales, we also offer a hire of our n-UVB whole body units both Nationwide and Locally ( 50 mile radius of Warrington).Please see our Hire page for more details. Distance hires outside of our locality are arranged subject to specific criteria, please contact us for details.
We offer Pre-sales advice and Post-sales support to assist your choice of the right product for your condition and ensure timely delivery.
MBS have an Office in Warrington (opposite the Town Hall), where you are welcome to meet us. In fact if you wish to purchase one of our Canopy units and can collect from our Offices, (due to rising delivery costs), we would be happy to offer a substantial discount on these devices.
On all our products, apart from our Hand Held devices MBS offer 0% Finance over 12 or 15 months available via Ourselves. We don’t use third party finance companies as their interest rates are too high. For this we are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We undertake both regulated and unregulated business, for which we are authorised under FRN:667294.
At MBS we have endeavoured to make the same n-UVB Phototherapy that is available to patients in a Hospital available to patients at home.
